Milford Music Lesson Policy

·       All lessons are $21 per ½ hour.  

·       Lessons may be paid in advance or at the time they are taken. After one month you can be placed on a billing program. You may also auto deduct with a credit card.

·       Milford Music requires a 24-hour cancellation notice to the scheduling desk. The answering machine is on at all times, even weekends to take calls for Monday.

·       You will be charged for anything other than a 24-hour excused absence. For families with more than one student, only the student that is ill will be excused.

·       A same-day excused absence is illness of the student or an extreme family emergency.

·       One excused absence is allowed per month, per student. We encourage regular attendance to ensure success of the student through a reasonable commitment to their instructor.

·       All planned absences should be given to the desk, not the instructors. Absences given to the instructor, but not the front desk, will be not be excused and will be charged to your account.

·       Irregular attendance or patterns of absences may result in the loss of your permanent spot. We expect regular attendance and a commitment to the lesson program.

·    We cannot guarantee your “spot” after you return from an extended absence.  If you make specific arrangements in agreement with your instructor and the desk, we will hold that spot.  Otherwise, you will be placed to the best of our ability upon your return.

·       Students are expected to have their instruments on the day of lessons. Should school be closed, Milford Music will probably still be open. An absence due to lack of instrument will not be excused, and you will be billed accordingly.
